DIY Styles for Bridesmaids Ballin’ on BudgetsMarch 29, 2016 10:12 pm
Weddings are great. You’ll never catch an Xtava Girl complaining about an excuse to get fancy, throw back champagne with reckless abandon and dance with a bunch of guys in tuxedos. But for the select few guests of honor who are on the other side of the looking glass, aka the bridesmaids, a BFF’s nuptial bash can seriously break the bank.
Though profesh hair and makeup is of course a posh splurge and a thrilling Instagram opportunity, DIY-ing a bridesmaid updo is an economical choice that can still be totally fun and glam, as well as surprisingly easy.
If you choose to go this route, resources are important. You’ll need something sparkly to drink, a sugary pink confection to snack on, a well-curated selection of Backstreet Boys hits and a Say Yes to The Dress marathon streaming. Oh, and hair stuff. Depending on your style selection, you may need a curler (the Satin Wave is a great option for it’s versatility) or flat irons (these little gems would make to-die-for bridesmaid gifts, too). Set up a styling station complete with hairspray, bobby pins, hair ties and shine serum. Trust me, the salon stylists will not be missed.Сomments аrchive
