How to turn up the shine on straight hair

01. Start by prepping hair with heat protectant spray

02. Section hair by layer using Xtava Pinup Clips

03. Detangle hair with a comb

04. Release the water cartridge from the Time to Shine Steam Straightener by pressing the button

Fill the water cartridge using the included dropper

Snap the cartridge back into place

05. Select your settings

Use higher temperatures for thicker hair and lower temperatures for thinner hair

06. Working in 1-inch sections pull hair taut and smooth it with the straightener

07. Continue smoothing hair layer by layer
